Prošli tjedan naš klub je sudjelovao u trodnevnom sportskom kampu kao partner u projektu pod nazivom “Deaf and Loud” koji je sufinanciran od strane Europske Unije. Cilj kampa i samog projekta je uključiti gluhu i nagluhu djecu u sportske aktivnosti i druženje sa svojim vršnjacima bez oštećenja sluha. Demonstrirana su tri sporta u kojima su djeca sudjelovala: cheerleading, tenis i gimnastika. Kamp je održan u Osnovnoj školi “Retkovec” u Zagrebu, a projekt organizira i vodi Cheerleading klub Zagi-Zagreb.

Uspješno održan FIG Parkour seminar i središnji sastanak za URBANGYM projekt

Proteklog tjedna, članovi projekta URBANGYM okupili su se na mid term sastanku kako bi pregledali dosadašnji napredak i planirali buduće korake u razvoju parkour odjela. Sastanak je otvorio dopredsjednik GK Brezovica, Mario Škegro, dok je prisutnima dobrodošlicu zaželio predsjednik Hrvatskog gimnastičkog saveza, dr. sc. Marijo Možnik, koji je pohvalio dosadašnji rad na projektu.

Sudionici sastanka imali su priliku prezentirati svoj rad na razvoju parkour odjela u svojim klubovima te iznijeti svoje planove za budućnost. Partneri su detaljno opisali napredak koji su postigli i predstavili svoje strategije za daljnji razvoj parkoura u svojim sredinama. Tijekom prezentacija, raspravljalo se o izazovima s kojima se susreću te su dijelili svoje iskustvo i savjete za uspješno pokretanje parkour odjela.

Deaf and Loud Kick Of Meeting

It is our pleasure to inform you that we are participating in the Erasmus Plus project called Deaf and Loud. The goal of the project is to involve deaf children in sports activities with their peers who can hear normally and thereby encourage new opportunities and friendships between them. The project is funded by the European Union, and our club participates as a partner in the project led by Cheerleading Klub Zagi-Zagreb. The kick off meeting was successfully completed.

Kick off meeting for project URBANGYM succesfully held in Italy

Schio, Italy – The kick-off meeting and parkour education event was held in Schio, Italy on 11th and 12th February, attracting participants from 5 organizations – ASD KRAP from Schio,GK Zaprešić from Zaprešić, Gimnastičko udruzenje Beogim from Belgrade, GK Brezovica from Brezovica, and Društvo Partizan VIČ from Ljubljana.
The event was organized as part of the Erasmus project Urbangym and was a great opportunity for participants to come together and share their knowledge and experiences in the field of parkour. The main aim of the event was to discuss the objectives of the project and to develop a plan for future activities.
During the two-day event, participants attended a series of workshops and presentations, led by experienced trainers from Italy. The workshops covered a wide range of topics related to parkour, including training techniques, safety measures, and the development of parkour programs. Participants also had the opportunity to participate in practical sessions, where they could put their newly acquired skills into practice.
The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their appreciation for the quality of the training and the professionalism of the trainers. Many participants also noted the valuable networking opportunities that the event provided, allowing them to connect with others in the parkour community and exchange ideas and experiences.
The kick-off meeting and parkour education event was a great success, and participants are already looking forward to the next event in the Urbangym project. The organizers are confident that this event will have a positive impact on the development of parkour in the participating countries and will help to promote the sport in the region.
